the great london school food project
newsflash: Food Growing Schools: project receives lottery award to get every London school growing its own food
inspiration |
The Great London School Food Project was inspired by the work of Rohan, James, Lewis, Paola, Anna, Dan and so many others. These are some of the people working with London schools on food in all its stages (growing, farming, sourcing, cooking, eating). We hope to build an easily accessible group of school food experts who can support schools to meet their 'food' needs. Click on the logos to see the projects (alphabetical order) and the names of people to contact. |

London food boardNot just for schools but worth checking out, the London Food Board is an advisory group of independent food policy organisations and experts. It oversees the implementation of The Mayor’s Food Strategy: Healthy and Sustainable Food for London, published in 2006 (and referred to here as London Food Strategy), co-ordinates work and leads the debate on sustainable food issues in the Capital.
